A MAN has been found dead after going to bed with a cough.
Marius Timofte, 33, was tragically found by his neighbour as they broke down the front door of his Edinburgh home.
The delivery driver called his mum on Saturday night to say he felt under the weather and had a fever.
Marius then took some medicine and went to bed – but sadly never woke up.
Close friend Stefana told EdinburghLive: "His mum had phoned him in the morning to check how he was but got no response, she was instantly worried and contacted one of our friends here to go and check.
"When Valentino, our friend, knocked on the door and got no response he started to bang on the door and try to break it down.

Stefana added: "His mum, Dalilia lives in Italy and is flying into Edinburgh tonight and we will meet her at the airport.
