Meghan Markle's latest podcast episode has dethroned comedian and UFC commentator Joe Rogan's podcast, with the Archewell Audio piece hitting No. 1 on Spotify.
Despite a critical slaughtering of the episode, with one saying it was a "vapid conversation", the Duchess of Sussex's podcast has hit the top spot on Spotify leaderboard, knocking The Joe Rogan Experience from its lofty position.
Just two days after its release and Meghan's podcast, Archetypes, has topped the most-listened to chart, with the 57-minute episode alongside Serena Williams discussing ambition.

The podcast also marked a handful of bombshell revelations about life in and after the Royal Family for Meghan, as well as retirement "evolution" for Williams.
Archetypes' latest episode is said to have been listened to by millions of people across the globe, quickly climbing to the top spot in a number of countries.
The podcast now sits in the top spot on United Kingdom, US, Canada, Australia and Ireland rankings, with the Duchess of Sussex finally making good on her Spotify contract.
She and husband Prince Harry had signed the hefty £15.2million ($18million) contract with Spotify in December 2020 for a three-year podcast deal.
Little had been heard from the podcasting pair until now, with the release of Meghan and Williams' episode, meaning it took the Sussexes nearly two years to make their first episode.

Joe Rogan and Meghan have their patchy history, with the recent top spot blow to the UFC commentator coming just over a year after he labelled the Duchess of Sussex a "little American hussy".
The comment, from a February 2021 episode of the podcast, resulted in a brief suspension of all of his content on the platform, with 113 episodes mysteriously removed and reinstated a week later.
Addressing the controversial comments, Rogan wrote on Instagram: "There’s been a lot of s**t from the old episodes of the podcast that I wish I hadn’t said, or had said differently."
Rogan had also provided alleged miscommunication about the COVID-19 pandemic, which led legendary musicians Neil Young and Joni Mitchell to temporarily pull their music from the audio streaming giant, Daily Mail reported.
