 Meghan Markle has questioned why black women are sometimes labelled as ‘angry’ in her latest Archetypes podcast. 

In ‘upending the angry black women myth’, the Duchess of Sussex chats to comedians Issa Rae and Ziwe to explore the stereotypes that exist about ‘women of colour’.

‘I mean, I remember when I was auditioning, the idea of even black roles and I remember those casting sheets. Where the description of the character, she always had to have an edge or an attitude.’
