Moment Brits abroad in Ibiza get into mass brawl with local street sellers as holidaymakers are viciously beaten before gang flee – as Spanish cops launch probe

This is the shocking moment a group of Brits abroad in Ibiza get into a mass brawl with local street sellers, with one holidaymaker being severely beaten before the gang flee.

Footage of the brawl in the party resort of San Antonio, appeared to show a topless tourist, described by locals as being British, being kicked and ferociously punched by several men.

He continues to get beaten by the gang, with one even trying to stomp on him as he tries to get back up.   

Another man is seen rushing over to help the Brit, before tripping and falling onto the sand, while glass bottles were thrown and smashed to the ground.

The fight came just moments after a group of young men and women, all thought to be from the UK, were seen fleeing from the area, while another unidentified man appeared to lay unconscious on the beach.

It is unclear whether he was one of the street sellers or a tourist. 

Police in San Antonio confirmed reports of the fight that took place around 6.30am on Sunday by the resort’s main beach S’Arenal.

The cops are now looking to identify the group of British tourists and the street sellers who fled the scene.

Local town hall-employed police are now analysing CCTV footage to try to identify those involved so they can try to make arrests.

It remains unclear how the violence erupted in the party town which is packed with Brits in the peak summer season.

Its West End area, one of the best-known party areas in the resort, is a British stronghold.

Last month it emerged police in the resort were hunting a British woman over a horror bottle attack on a hotel boss.

The unnamed holidaymaker allegedly used the bottle to slash her victim’s throat after refusing to pay a drinks bill.

The deputy director of the unnamed hotel in San Antonio is said to have stepped in after a group the woman was with assaulted a waitress when she tried to charge them.

The attacker fled the scene after leaving the female hotel chief with serious injuries. She is still believed to be on the run.
