Below Deck Down Under hit rough waters on Monday night with a shock double sacking following inappropriate behaviour, which led Laura Bileskalne to issue an apology to her Instagram followers.

Both Laura and Luke Jones found themselves fired in Monday’s episode after things got out of hand following a drunken night out, with production forced to step in to resolve the situation.

She posted the apology accompanied by a picture of her walking away from the camera wearing a pink kaftan-style cover-up along with an image of her and Luke taken from the show.

“My sincere apologies to Adam,” she wrote. “I did not realise I made him feel uncomfortable and no one should be put in that position.

“And to Margot to not be able to empathize. I was 29 when the show was filmed, 30 was my life-changer. I am 31 now and I am watching it as all of you, an entertainment show.”

Her apology referred to the inebriated antics broadcast on the show which led to the two crew memebers being dismissed.

Firstly, Luke Jones shockingly stumbled into Margot Sisson’s cabin and climbed into her bed completely naked while she was sound asleep, leading the camera crew to force him to leave.

Elsewhere, Laura was making moves on an Adam Kodra in the hot tub, before attempting to give him a massage in his bunk. Although he initially tried to stop the situation, he fell asleep and she proceeded to climb over him with lotion.

Even a camera operator informing her that they had received a message from producers telling her to come down didn’t snap her out of it and it took more persuasion to remove her.

The following morning Captain Jason Chambers formally told the crew that Luke had been let go as a result of his behaviour.

This led stewardess Aesha Scott to check if Adam was OK after Laura’s behaviour although the deckhand said he didn’t “want to get anybody in trouble.”

Laura was also very vocal about Luke’s departure calling it “unfair”. “I think he just meant it as a joke, he’s a funny guy. I don’t think he meant anything bad. He wouldn’t rape you or anything,” she said to Margot.

Furious at her lack of boundaries Captain Jason formally called her into the wheelhouse to let her go. “For you to go to Margot and say that, it shows you have not listened to a word I’ve said about boundaries, and shown little respect and empathy to Margot.”

“I’m trying to move forward as a team, I’m trying to get that behind us, and you’ve brought it straight back up. In that, I’m going to terminate your employment today,” he added.

“I can’t go on with you as part of the team in the environment that I’m trying to set.”

Below Deck Down Under streams on Peacock in the US on Mondays, and on Hayu in the UK on the same day.
