Moments later Mr Helm fell into the fire pit, causing the flames to race into the sky
Amazingly, despite knocking over the fire, Mr Helm was uninjured by the flames
However as his right foot connects with the ball his left foot slips on the grass and sends him tumbling backwards towards the open fire.
Mr Helm then puts his hand out to soften his landing but slams right into the top of the fire pit, causing a huge ball of flames to erupt out towards the camera.
Sparks and flames fly everywhere whilst onlookers can be heard saying: ‘Oh my God, oh my God the fire.’
Mr Helm can then be seen shaking and slapping his top to put out any embers whilst a heap of burning ash and wood has been scattered over the ground.
As the initial shock wears off the group burst out in laughter at the chaotic blunder.
Hollie Comaish, whose garden the incident took place in, shared the video to TikTok yesterday writing: ‘And that was the end of the night.’
The video has now collected over 4,600 views with hundreds of likes from social media users who were mixed in their responses.
One said: ‘That man in the blue top is not impressed.’
Another wrote: ‘What in the hell happened there.’
Speaking today Ms Comaish said: ‘Paul was reliving his youth thinking he was Stevie G and backfired into the fire pit.
‘Paul is alive and well and somehow got no marks.
‘As you can see by the video we all thought it was hysterical.’
