Shocking moment yob kicks his dog so viciously that it yelps in pain is revealed as police launch investigation

This is the shocking moment a yob kicked his dog so viciously after it got in his way it yelped in pain.

The footage, caught on a security camera, was captured in Stowmarket, Suffolk, last Friday at around 8pm.

Residents heard the owner shouting at the dog and footage shows him raising his leg and kicking the dog after it got in his way.

The dog yelps and the owner quickly picks it up and walks away around the corner of a house.

Police released the footage today to appeal for witnesses or anyone who has any information about the man.

The man was wearing dark-coloured shorts, a dark jacket and a dark-coloured hat and the dog had dark and light colouring and was wearing a red jacket.

Suffolk police said: ‘Please note the dog can be heard to make a loud squealing noise after being kicked, which some people may find distressing. 

‘The dog walker can also be heard talking on the video.

‘Anyone who recognises the man or who has any information is asked to contact Suffolk police.’
