Mum Kerry Newman found dead near school in Rochdale feared to have been ‘taken’ as cops make two arrests for ‘murder’ | The Sun

A "LOVING" mum whose body was found near a school is feared to have been taken before her death, police have revealed.

Kerry Newman was tragically discovered by police on a path near a primary school at around 4.30am on Monday.

Greater Manchester Police have since arrested a man, 48, and woman, 52, on suspicion of murder.

They remain in custody for further questioning while the investigation is ongoing.

Police have now revealed Kerry's death is being treated as suspicious as they believe she was "taken" from an address.

The force said: "Further enquiries also suggests that Kerry was taken from an address in Freehold to New Barn Lane in Rochdale where she was subsequently found deceased, of which the cause of her death is unknown."
