A mum allegedly took blood from her own son and gave it to her other two children for bogus medical reasons.
Jorden Nicole Borders, 32, was charged by on Wednesday (November 23) with three counts of child torture and three counts of stalking related to her children aged 8, 9 and 11-years-old.
Medical professionals in Minnesota, US, were concerned after the 9-year-old boy's hemoglobin numbers kept dropping, leading them to believe that his blood was being taken.

Borders claimed the hospital lab was responsible for taking the blood, but the other children told investigators their mother frequently took it and put it in a cup before one of them was ordered to "flush the blood down the toilet."
The complaint, read out in court, described how the mother would continuously draw the blood, telling her son "don't tell anyone".
Investigators found that Borders bizarrely believed her nine and 11-year-old to have brittle bone disease and forced the pair to wear casts and neck braces despite having no injuries.
The 11-year-old also told investigators how his mother told him to pretend he had broken bones.
She would routinely steal medical equipment from hospitals and kept the 11-year-old in a cast for two years.
But that was just a small part of the abuse the children endured, with their mother frequently choking them, making them stand outside in the cold with no clothes on and beating them, according to court documents.

The nine-year-old boy told interviewers "I was never safe" and was forced to sleep on the floor.
Meanwhile the eight-year-old girl claimed their father did not know his son could walk as the mother forced the child to sit in a wheelchair whenever he was home.
Borders received upwards of £29,000 from the State of Minnesota to take care of the 9-year-old boy, and was even nominated to be given gifts and money from several charities.
On Monday (November 21), officers went to the home to arrest Borders after hearing the children's testimony but she was nowhere to be seen.
It is not known if she has been taken into custody.
