THE mother of Shani Louk, believed to have been murdered by Hamas gunmen, has claimed she received word from Gaza her daughter is still alive.
The German tattoo artist, 22, was thought to have been killed in the brutal attack on an Israeli music festival and paraded around on a truck.
Shani's mother, Ricarda Louk, said the family has received word she is alive but has a serious head injury and is in critical condition.
She told Bild: "Every minute is critical," and begged German authorities to help get Shani out of Gaza.
The German-Israeli citizen was attending the Nova music festival in Israel when Hamas gunmen stormed the border on Saturday and opened fire.
Her family thought she was dead after seeing footage of her unconscious and partially naked body being paraded around on a pickup truck was released online.

More than 3,000 people in Israel and Gaza have been killed since the Palestinian militant group launched their surprise attack on Saturday and sparked a declaration of war from Israel.
Over 260 bodies were recovered from the Supernova music festival in southern Israel after revellers were slaughtered by gunmen on paragliders and a barrage of rockets.
Her boyfriend, Orion Hernández Radoux, has also been reported missing following the festival massacre.
Ricarda previously said the family was holding out hope that Shani was still alive following the brutal massacre.
Ricarda told CNN: "The video looks very bad but I still have hope. I hope she's still alive somewhere.
"We don't have anything else to hope for. We're trying to believe."
After taking Shani's body into the Gaza strip, Ricarda said the audacious Hamas militants even tried to use Shani's credit card.
Mum Ricarda confirmed: "We saw that somebody tried to use a credit card in the Gaza strip multiple times."
After the unprecedented violence erupted in Israel on Saturday, Ricarda desperately tried to make sure her daughter was safe.
She said: "I started calling her to see where she is, if she was near a secure location, and she said she was in a festival in the south and was panicking a little bit."
Ricarda then saw videos of armed militants shooting anyone trying to reach their vehicles – which Shani told her mum she was doing.
No updates had been given on Shani's whereabouts until today, but cousin Tom Weintraub Louk said the family hasn't given up.
He spoke to The Washington Post about his cousin: "We have some kind of hope. Hamas is responsible for her and the others.
"We recognised her by the tattoos, and she has long dreadlocks."
Hundreds of other attendees of the music festival remain missing, with many like Shani thought to have been kidnapped and taken into Gaza.
Shocking footage showed terrified ravers fleeing the site of the music festival – with several Brits since reported dead, including Jake Marlowe.
Only hours before the gunmen broke through the barricade into Israel, Jake Marlowe, 26, sent a text to his mum saying rockets were flying overhead and promised to keep in touch.
Early Saturday morning, he said: "Signal very bad, everything is okay, I will keep you updated I promise you. Love you."

He was pictured laughing with his German girlfriend Carolin Bohl – who is also missing – shortly before they vanished during the festival massacre.
A witness, Gili Yoskovich, described people "dying all around" as she stayed silent in a desperate attempt to escape the terror group's hail of bullets.
