Nicholas Rossi arrested on suspicion of historical rape in England as fugitive is quizzed by Essex cops | The Sun

FUGITIVE Nicholas Rossi has been arrested in connection with non-recent rape in Essex.

Rossi, 36, is understood to have been transferred from Scotland to a prison in England and will be quizzed by cops following a report made in April last year.

A spokesman for Essex Police said: "Officers investigating a non-recent allegation of rape in Chelmsford, which was made to us in April 2022, have arrested 36-year-old a man.

"After liaising with the appropriate authorities, Essex Police officers arrested the man on suspicion of rape this morning, Wednesday October 11.

"He remains in custody for questioning."

Rossi has been in custody at HM Prison Edinburgh in Scotland, but will be quizzed by Essex Police today, it's understood.
