The wild moment a pickup truck mows down multiple pedestrians as it fled a cop car after doing donuts at an Atlanta street show.

The driver of the Ford150 pickup truck, whose name was not revealed, was circling a busy intersection at 17th Street and Northside Drive on Sunday night moments before a Georgia state trooper began to pursue him prompting a frenetic scene. 

The video shows the horrifying scene of the out-of-control vehicle plowing into multiple people standing in the street as others scatter as the police vehicle pursues the assailant. 

Shocked bystanders were overheard yelling, ‘Oh s**t as they saw the frenetic scene play out.  

In a final clip, the police car is seen smashing into the vehicle several times, then using a pursuit tactic known as a PIT maneuver, that forces a fleeing vehicle to turn sideways abruptly, causing the driver to lose control and stop.

The office uses a pursuit tactic, known as a PIT maneuver or TVI, in which a pursuing vehicle forces a fleeing vehicle to turn sideways abruptly, causing the driver to lose control and stop

The officer then jumps onto the hood of the assailant’s car before pulling the driver out of the truck by his arm and then handcuffing him.

Many bystanders were caught on video filming the action scene as others are heard cheering on the cop.

Once the officer apprehended the suspect, the driver did not appear to resist, The New York Post reported. 

It is unclear the number of people who were injured.

Citizen Free Press posted – the good guy bad guy showdown – on X that went viral and garnered nearly 4 million views and hailed the cop for his heroism. 

‘Cowboy cop waited his whole career for a moment like this,’ they wrote, in part.  ‘Excellent PIT maneuver.’
