Police woman killed love rival who she spotted having sex in her work car

A former police detective has been sentenced to life in prison after shooting another woman in a twisted love triangle.

Alfreda Janapril Fluker, 43, shot down another woman after she caught her having sex with a man she was having an affair with in the front seat of his work car.

She was convicted in November 2020 of murder in the first degree for shooting to death 43-year-old Kanisha Necole Fuller, Fox News reports.

This week, she was sentenced for life without possibility of parole.

Fluker was also convicted of one count of attempted murder over the shooting as she targeted Mario Theodore White, her police partner and common-law husband at the time.

Monday (February 6) saw her sentenced for life and found guilty of both charges.

Mother of the victim, Janice Andrews, told the CBS WIAT TV station that she was happy and glad of the punishments given to her daughter’s killer.

“I feel God is good all the time,” Andrews told WIAT in an interview. “No matter what your title is, you just can’t go around killing people. People got family.”

The shooting occurred late at night in the Germania Park neighborhood of Birmingham, Alabama, USA. Bother Fuller and White were in an unmarked police car.

The pair were thought to be having sexual intercourse when Fluker was passing. Several shots rang out as Fluker opened fire.

Testifying in her gruelling four-day trial, Fluker claims she was overcome with anger and shot acting out of pure passion.

“They were having sex in the passenger’s seat in the work truck,’’ she testified. “She was on top of him, and they were having sex. All I could visualize was them having sex in that truck that I ride in every day.”

“I went to my truck, and I pulled my weapon and I just started recklessly firing,’’ Fluker went on to tell the court “I wanted Mario to know to stop playing with me. I wanted him to respect me.”

White, who was in a romantic relationship with both women was not hit by bullets. Fuller was shot in the leg, arm and head. This caused the fatal injury to her head.

Fluker previously worked for the police force for 15 years before committing this crime.
