- Meghan Markle, 42, will take to the stage at the games’ closing ceremony
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to present a segment of Invictus Games after months without a joint appearance from the couple.
The Duchess of Sussex, 42, will enter the stage in September during the closing ceremony of the games.
Meghan will host the ‘Lifestories Scene’ segment, which provides insight into the bravery and resilience of the injured servicemen and women competing.
Her contribution will be ‘poignant’ and serve as a testament to the games’ ability to transform lives, organisers said, according to The Telegraph.
Meanwhile Harry, 38, will deliver a goodbye speech at the closing ceremony in Düsseldorf, Germany, which is set to take place on September 16.

The royal will apparently praise the competitors’ ‘unwavering spirit and impressive recovery journey’.
Other famous figures due to appear at the closing ceremony include Frank-Walter Steinmeier, the German president who hosted the King and Queen in March this year.
Pop star Rita Ora is going to perform at the event at the Merkur Spiel-Arena. The singer said: ‘The Invictus Games is a very special sports event, and the competitors are an inspiration in perseverance and will for all of us.’
Prince Harry claimed this year’s event will be ‘the best ever’, although revealing he was both ‘excited’ and ‘nervous’ for the tournament.

The news of the couple’s upcoming public appearance this September comes after Harry and his friend Nacho Figueras said they miss their wives ‘very much’ during a recent visit to Japan and a polo match in Singapore.
Meghan was meanwhile spotted wearing a $4 anti-stress patch that provides ‘resonance and frequencies’ for calm.
Harry has been away from Meghan while on tour raising the profile of the Sentebale charity he founded to help young people in southern Africa.
He threw himself into a polo match in Singapore in a game that ended in a 7-7 draw in the Sentebale ISPS Handa Polo Cup.
