Daughter of Kate Middleton and Prince William, Princess Charlotte, uses a different name at school, just like her dad and uncle Harry before her.
With term time back, Charlotte, eight, and her brother George, 10, will be back in classes at Thomas’s Battersea in South London, a £19,287-a-year private school.
The siblings may be real-life royalty, but insiders say the Prince and Princess are treated just like everyone else as soon as they walk through the school gates.

And this means Charlotte’s classmates don't use her royal titles when speaking to her.
Instead, she will have been given a last name, just like the rest of her peers.
Charlotte’s full name is Charlotte Elizabeth Diana, but her official title is Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte of Cambridge.
But as you might expect, this is a big of a mouthful for the kids in the playground.
Charlotte will most likely use the same surname her older brother and other members of the Royal Family use – Cambridge, as reported by the Mirror.
When Prince William and Prince Harry went to school, they both used their father’s title, the Prince of Wales, as their surname.
They were known as William Wales and Harry Wales in school and during their military careers.

This means she’ll be known as Charlotte Cambridge to her classmates, similar to how her brother is known as George Cambridge.
His full name is George Alexander Louis, His Royal Highness Prince George of Cambridge.
Although his friends have reportedly given him a very sweet nickname – PG.
Prince George is reportedly doing very well at the school, which offers a varied and exciting curriculum, including religious studies, computing and ballet.
A source told Vanity Fair: “He’s very popular and has lots of friends, and there’s very little fuss made about who he is.
“Either William or Kate do drop off, and they are always very friendly.
“William particularly loves to have a chat with some of the other parents and he works out with some of the mums at the Harbour Club after drop off. He’s very chatty and amiable.”
