Russian President Vladimir Putin has pardoned a raging Satanist cannibal who slaughtered four teens during a devil-worshipping ritual.

Nikolai Ogolobyak was jailed in 2010 on several murder and robbery charges, as well as that of desecrating a corpse. He was part of a Satantic cult who chopped up and fried four teens and ate the body parts and organs in the woods in 2008.

The teens – Olga Pukhova, Varvara Kuzmina, Andrei Sorokin and Anna Gorokhova – had reportedly gone to a music festival, with their remains being found more than two months later in Yaroslavl. When found by police, the internal organs were missing, with the breasts and genitals separated from the body, along with the severed arms, heads and legs.

And if that wasn't grim enough, local news reports stated at the time: “The investigation believes that the devil worshippers and their victims knew each other, although the victims belonged to the Goth youth community. For two nights in a row, cannibals lured teenagers in pairs to the place of massacre, where they first drugged them with alcohol.

"Then the Satanists killed the victims, inflicting 666 knife blows on them, in accordance with the sacred 'number of the beast'. The killers lit a fire under a tree, after which they fried parts of the bodies of the dead on it for consumption, and near the murder scene, forensic scientists found an inverted cross with a cat crucified on it – and in the fire pit, locks of hair dyed red were found.”

However, despite all of that, Ogolobyak has now been freed having spent six months fighting for Russia's prisoner-filled Storm Z unit, and is now back home in Yaroslavl. His father confirmed the news to local media, stating that his son was now “disabled” after suffering a serious injury in the fighting.

He was freed on November 2, and now lives with his mother.
