The inner-circle of Russian President Vladimir Putin have labelled the despot's apparent death as “the beginning of something new and good,” a Kremlin source has claimed.
The fate of Putin is up in the air, nearly a week after he reportedly died of a heart attack at his Valdai residence. For the last week, the Daily Star has been reporting on wild claims that the Russian despot died.
The source of the claims is a Telegram channel called General SVR, which is thought to be led by a Kremlin insider – it said Putin had died at the 71-year-old's Valdai residence last week.

This forced the Kremlin to deny it for the second time in 48 hours, with Putin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov claiming that it was all just an “absurd information canard”. However, the same Kremlin insider has returned with another update, claiming that Putin's inner-circle appear pretty happy with the apparent death.

The source said: “Those around the 'president' are no longer very worried and even consider Putin’s death the beginning of something new and good. Many are tired of the constantly prevailing theme of war and sanctions, and started talking about the possibility of peace negotiations, but, of course, on 'favourable; terms, which they cannot yet clearly formulate.
“In any case, the movement began, and the big political season began.”

No update was given on Putin's body, which is claimed to still be stuck inside his Valdai residence. Nikolai Patrushev is Russia 's Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian, and is now thought to be one the one pulling the strings in Russia.
Upcoming major appearances for Vladimir Putin have also been cancelled by the Kremlin, pouring further fuel onto the rumours that he might actually be dead.
The Kremlin has constantly denied that Putin has been suffering from health issues and is, or could be, dead – but the source on Telegram continues to claim otherwise.
