Racy model’s raunchy billboard becomes 2023’s ‘most complained about advert’

A racy model's raunchy billboard that plugged her adult content has been named 2023's 'most complained about advert'.

Savannah posted her board in Osbourne Park in April, a move that Perth Now claims earned her some half a million Aussie dollars, the equivalent of around £260,000.

The move caused locals to complain in their droves, with the ad even coming with a QR providing a direct link to her page, WC Savage.

The City of Stirling council, in Perth Western Australia, even tightened its advertising policy after the OnlyFans content creator plastered up the massive larger-than-life billboard.

Authorities now have the power to not allow the promotion of “certain products and services”.

“I’m not shocked, but this isn’t actually something I thought I would be eligible for,” Savannah said in response to her new title.

Richard Bean, executive director of Ad Standards, said more than half of this year's 3,500 complaints revolved around concerns about the portrayal of sex and violence.

“Advertisers need to make sure their ads align with evolving community standards,” he said, via Perth Now.

Complaints about Savannah's billboard, however, were dismissed as they did not breach any ad standards.

Savannah revealed she had received violent threats and had been labeled a “child-groomer” and “sex trafficker”.

“A lot of the complaints were to do with children being able to access porn,” she said. She suggested parents should put locks on children’s phones.

“If your kids are accessing OnlyFans it’s poor parenting.”

Perth now reported that a 'Red Rooster' a television ad showing teens at a skatepark stealing fried chicken from each other raised 214 concerns, mostly around the promotion of unsocial behavior. It was second to Savannah's ad, which resulted in 350 complaints.
