Rupert Everett says he knows who Prince Harry lost his virginity to

I know who Prince Harry lost his virginity to and it wasn’t behind a pub or even in this country, claims Rupert Everett after Duke revealed in memoir he had sex with older woman in a field

  • Rupert Everett cast doubt on Prince Harry’s claims about how he lost his virginity
  • He claims the rendezvous did not take place behind a pub as Harry stated

Actor Rupert Everett has cast doubt on Prince Harry’s claims he lost his virginity in a field behind a pub.

The prince shared in graphic detail his memory of his first time in his memoir, Spare, revealing he was ‘treated like a stallion’ by an older woman in a ‘grassy field behind a busy pub’.

While he did not specify which pub, many assumed he was referring to the Rattlebone Inn in Wiltshire – his old stomping ground as a 17-year-old in 2001.

But Everett told The Telegraph Magazine that is not the case, claiming he knows the identity of the woman involved.

He said: ‘I know who the woman he lost his virginity to is. And it wasn’t behind a pub. And it wasn’t in this country.

‘I’m just putting it out there that I know.’

Everett did not offer any further detail about the rendezvous, and a source close to Prince Harry told the publication: “Amazing that he would know such a personal detail better than Prince Harry himself.”

A string of women who were linked to Harry have since denied he was referring to them, including former model Suzannah Harvey, 44, and interior designer Catherine Ommanney, 51.

Liz Hurley also ruled herself out.

Miss Harvey has sought to distance herself from the brief encounter after previously admitting to ‘passionately kissing’ the prince in a muddy field when she was 23 after a Christmas ball in that same year.

Miss Ommanney, who dated Harry when she was 34 and he was 21, also denied being the woman in question, adding that he was ‘clearly’ an experienced lover by the time they got together in 2006.

In 2001, the royal was still a student at Eton College in Windsor when one of the Royal Family’s bodyguards Marko paid him a visit.

At the beginning of the meeting, Prince Harry says he suspected Marko had heard about the one-night stand – which he described as a ‘humiliating’ experience.

Over lunch in a cafeteria in the city centre, the bodyguard – who had a ‘sombre look’ on his face – told the Prince that he had been sent to ‘find out the truth’.

The father-of-two wrote: ‘I suspected he was referring to my recent loss of virginity, an inglorious episode, with an older woman. She liked horses, quite a lot, and treated me not unlike a young stallion.

‘Quick ride, after which she’d smacked my rump and sent me off to graze. Among the many things about it that were wrong: it happened in a grassy field behind a busy pub.’
