A SHAMELESS couple has been caught having sex in court on CCTV three times moments before the woman was due to go before a judge.

The promiscuous duo was sentenced to 60 hours of community service each over the raunchy act.

Shameka Julie Leeding, 19, was due in front of Toowoomba Magistrates Court in Australia on June 28 for an unrelated charge when she got frisky with her 20-year-old partner Jake James Quinn in a packed court foyer.

According to police prosecutor Cameron Francis, Leeding was caught straddling Quinn on camera as the couple kissed "vigorously" at about 9.40am that morning.

Leeding was then seen lifting up her skirt and positioned herself on top of Quinn and began moving up and down.

Security approached the feckless couple and Leeding jumped off Quinn, who then attempted to cover himself.

Once security was out of sight, the randy couple got at it again.

The court heard how Quinn "exposed his penis again" and Leeding "adjusted [it] under her skirt" as people sat waiting less than 5 metres away.

"She then sat on his lap, facing away and again started moving up and down on his lap, appearing to again engage in sexual intercourse," the prosecutor added.

A volunteer court staff member interrupted them but the couple continued on for a third time once they left the area.

When they were approached for a third time, by security, the 19-year-old "quickly stood up and held her arms out in an attempt to block the view of the security guard while Quinn attempted to cover himself," Francis said.

Two days later on June 30, the couple were handed notices by police and later pleaded guilty to an indecent act.

No convictions were recorded, according to news.com.au.

Nathan Bouchier, Quinn's solicitor, said the actions "weren't planned" and that the unemployed labourer "wasn't thinking" of how inappropriate it was.

Leeding's lawyer put the couple's despicable behaviour down to the "exuberance of youth".

Magistrate Clare Kelly said the couple showed "outrageous behaviour" and said she had never heard of such an incident occurring inside a courthouse.

"In a disrespectful manner you’ve taken into the public arena a very private act," she said.
