The Taliban are reportedly going door-to-door with guns to enforce a ban on contraception as devices and pills are deemed a Western conspiracy to control Muslims.
Pharmacies in Afghanistan have been forced to take products off their shelves, according to The Guardian.
Although the Taliban's Ministry of Public Health is yet to officially announce a policy regarding condoms and contraceptive pills, people living under the regime say a ban is being forcibly carried out.

Pharmacists in both Kabul and Mazar-i-Sharif have said they've been banned from stocking or selling products.
One shop owner told The Guardian: "They came to my store twice with guns and threatened me not to keep contraceptive pills for sale. They are regularly checking every pharmacy in Kabul and we have stopped selling the products."
Taliban fighters are also apparently targeting midwives, warning them not to promote contraception.
One said a Taliban commander told her: "You are not allowed to go outside and promote the western concept of controlling population and this is unnecessary work."
The contraception ban is just another example of the oppression of women in Afghanistan following the Taliban's takeover.
The Islamic fundamentalist regime initially promised women would be allowed to exercise rights under Sharia Law.
However, it has since banned girls from attending school past sixth grade, barred women from working most jobs outside the home, decreed women must cover their faces in public and made it so they need a male chaperone to travel long distances or access essential services.
Regarding contraception and pregnancy specifically, Afghanistan is one of the most dangerous places on Earth to give birth with one in every 14 Afghan women dying from pregnancy-related causes.
