Dramatic dashcam footage captures the moment when a Honda scooter, carrying three teenagers, collided with a Toyota Corolla at a busy Sydney intersection.
The impact sent the teens flying into the air, leading to two of them being rushed to the hospital with fractured legs.
None of the boys were wearing helmets at the time of the accident.
Witnesses reported that the scooter had run a red light at Glossop St and Forrester Rd intersection in St Marys, west Sydney, around 1:40 pm on September 16.
Just moments after they landed on the road, a second scooter carrying two people pulled up to the crash scene.

One of the passengers attempted to help one of the injured boys, before abandoning him on the roadside after realising he could not walk.
The other boy assisted the only crash victim who was able to walk, helping them onto the scooter.
They then fled the scene, leaving behind two injured teens to fend for themselves.
The driver and a passenger of the crashed scooter were taken to Westmead Hospital in serious condition.
The Corolla driver was uninjured.
No charges have been laid, but New South Wales Police confirmed it is investigating the crash.
Hundreds of comments under the dashcam footage slammed the escapees for leaving their injured friends.
‘All care for their so-called mates. Classy effort,’ one said.
‘Several of them rode off, leaving their “mates” for dead. Even a barely half decent human would surely stop. Nope, just flee and hope someone else cleans up their mess,’ another wrote.
