THREE Met Police officers joked about raping a teen girl and shared racist insults in a text group with Wayne Couzens, a court heard.

PC Jonathon Cobban, PC William Neville and Joel Borders allegedly shared the messages in a WhatsApp chat with the killer cop before he raped and murdered Sarah Everard.

Police investigating her death discovered the material on one of Couzens' phones, Westminster Magistrates' Court was told.

The messages began on June 29, 2019, when another officer, who has not been charged, was speaking to Cobban and Borders on the group chat.

He wrote: "Mate, they aren't going to ditch you with your skills unless you finger a DV [domestic violence] victim."

Borders replies: "Oh John, in that case you're probably f**ked".

Cobban then wrote back: "That's alright. DV victims love it. That's why they're repeat victims more often than not."

Ex-cop Borders then replies "No, they just don't listen."

The trio also allegedly shared a string of racist messages later that same day when they branded Hounslow, West London, a "f**king Somalian s**thole".

Cobban adds: "Great, there goes my p***y patrol – more like FGM [female genital mutilation] patrol."

Borders then tells him Feltham is "worse", saying: "I went there the other week and I felt like a spot on a domino."

The court was told the officers, who were all on duty at the time, also joked about raping a 15-year-old girl with mental health issues.

Neville allegedly acted out a "rape fantasy" and referred to pinning the vulnerable teen down as a "struggle snuggle".

In another exchange, Borders said of a female Met colleague: "She will use me as an example. Lead me on then get me kicked up when I rape and beat her! Sneaky b***h".

The court also heard how Neville told his colleagues he had "three domestics back-to-back today" – leading Borders to remark: "I bet they all had one thing in common.

"Women that don’t listen".

COPS ON TRIAL

Cobban, of Didcot, Oxfordshire, and Borders, of Preston, Lancs, deny five counts each of sending by public communication network an offensive matter.

Neville, of Weybridge, Surrey, denies two of the same charges.

The officer's names were revealed by the Crown Prosecution Service in February ahead of their first court appearance.

They previously confirmed they were unable to name the defendants due to operational reasons.

The Met has suspended the serving officers from duty following the charges.

Couzens, who worked in the parliamentary and diplomatic protection command, lured the marketing executive into his car by fake arresting her using his warrant card.

He then drove her 80 miles to Kent where he raped her then used his police-issue belt to strangle her.

After his arrest, it emerged Couzens had slipped through the net despite colleagues branding him "the rapist" following a string of incidents.
