  • ‘Everybody loved her, but everybody at ABC is a little disappointed in her… memory, put it that way. All of us at Disney/ABC, really,’ Allen tells DailyMail.com
  • This is the first time Allen has been seen since Anderson’s claims

Tim Allen, seen for the first time since Pamela Anderson claimed he flashed her on the set of ABC sitcom Home Improvement, expressed his dismay over the actress’s faulty memory.

DailyMail.com caught up with the 69-year-old actor as he was grabbing a Starbucks with a friend last week – just a few days after it was revealed Anderson, 55, alleged in her upcoming memoir Love, Pamela, that Allen opened up his robe to show his co-star his private parts.

Allen told DailyMail.com, ‘She was a great co-worker, I’ll tell you that. She’s a fun girl. Everybody loved her, but everybody at ABC is a little disappointed in her… memory, put it that way. All of us at Disney/ABC, really.’

Allen was dressed casually in a gray coat, jeans and a blue flannel shirt and added, ‘She’s a good girl.’

He was asked before driving away if he had a good memory, to which he nodded stoically and replied: ‘Yeah.’

DailyMail.com spotted Tim Allen last week in his first sighting since Pamela Anderson accused him of flashing her

Anderson claimed in her forthcoming memoir Love, Pamela that Tim Allen flashed her on the set of ABC sitcom Home Improvement in 1991

‘Everybody loved her, but everybody at ABC is a little disappointed in her… memory, put it that way. All of us at Disney/ABC, really,’ Allen tells DailyMail.com

Tim, who was dressed casually in a gray coat, jeans and a blue flannel shirt, said Anderson is ‘a good girl’

The incident allegedly happened in 1991 when the Baywatch star was just 23 and playing the role of Lisa in the show, which centered around Allen’s character and his family in suburban Detroit.  Allen was 37 at the time.

Anderson’s memoir Love, Pamela hits stands on Tuesday

In an extract from her new memoir, Anderson writes: ‘On the first day of filming, I walked out of my dressing room, and Tim was in the hallway in his robe.

‘He opened his robe and flashed me quickly – completely naked underneath.’

Anderson had previously posed for Playboy magazine at the time of the incident – which Allen used against her, she claimed.

She wrote: ‘He said it was only fair, because he had seen me naked. Now we’re even. I laughed uncomfortably.’

But Allen has denied the claims, telling Variety it ‘never happened.’

He added: ‘I would never do such a thing.’

Prior to breaking out as a mainstream star in the 90s, Anderson had appeared on sitcoms such as Married… with Children, Charles in Charge and Top of the Heap.

She appeared on a total of 22 episodes of Home Improvement in its first and second seasons between 1991 and 1992.

Last week, a blooper Home Improvement reel was unearthed showing Allen lifting up his kilt in front of his on-screen wife Patricia Richardson, who appears to laugh off the incident.

The video casts doubt on Allen’s statement that he would ‘never do such a thing’ when accused by Anderson of also flashing her on set.

However Richardson has insisted her co-star was ‘well dressed’ underneath the kilt and was wearing a pair of boxer shorts.

The clip begins by showing Allen standing proudly in the kilt, while Richardson’s character Jill Taylor jokes ‘hangs long, I just wish it was shorter.’

Seconds later, Allen turns to lift the kilt completely so only Richardson can see. She gasps dramatically as the live studio audience roars with laughter.

But Richardson told TMZ: ‘People ask me what was under the kilt when he flashed me, he was well dressed under there, I was just shocked that he lifted the kilt, not by a man in boxer shorts.’

Anderson’s forthcoming memoir, which is published by HarperCollins, also discusses her thoughts on the 2022 Hulu series Pam and Tommy, which centered her sex tape scandal with ex-husband Tommy Lee.
