Tommy the world’s tallest steer, an enormous haul of Care Bears memorabilia, and a woman who did thirteen horseback standing jumps in 30 seconds are among those who have picked up a Guinness World Record gong for 2024.

A total of 2,638 records are in the latest edition of the book, which features more than 80 percent of new and updated records.

Among those include 13-year-old Tommy the steer from Massachusetts who measures a whopping 6ft 1in tall.

The giant purebred Brown Swiss’s owner, Fred, described him as a ‘gentle giant’ and is strictly a pet. He wolfs down an incredible 13kg of dry grain and 31kg of hay, the combined equivalent weight of a baby hippopotamus, while he guzzles between 30 to 40 gallons of water every day.

The mammoth steer amassed a TikTok following since the pandemic and it was one of his followers that tipped him off as potentially being the tallest in the world.
