Tory deputy chairman ’30p Lee’ Anderson told dad of Game of Thrones star Rose Leslie to ‘come outside’ in parliamentary bust-up over Andrew Bridgen’s expulsion from party over Covid jabs row
- A heated row took place today in a House of Commons dining room
Tory deputy chairman Lee Anderson told the father of Game of Throne star Rose Leslie to ‘come outside’ in a bust-up in Parliament today, it has been revealed.
He is claimed to have been ‘aggressive’ towards Sebastian Leslie, whose daughter played Ygritte in the hit TV series, during a row in a House of Commons dining room.
The altercation is said to have been prompted by the explusion of North West Leicestershire MP Andrew Bridgen from the Conservative Party.
Mr Bridgen and Mr Leslie were having lunch in Portcullis House on the parliamentary estate before becoming embroiled in the heated exchange.
Mr Anderson, who was dining with friends in the nearby Adjournment restaurant, is claimed to have been ‘bloody rude’ to Mr Bridgen during the exchange before turning on Mr Leslie.

‘He turned to me and said, “Hold on grandad, come outside and we’ll sort it out”,’ Mr Leslie, a former Tory councillor, told the PA news agency.
As a chieftain of the Scottish clan Leslie, he asked Mr Anderson whether he wanted to use ‘pistols or claymores?’, which Mr Leslie explained was a reference to ancient traditions of duelling.
‘He was aggressive and out of control,’ the grandfather-of-six added. ‘It was very threatening and aggressive.’
Mr Leslie, who was suspended from the Tories in 2018 over council tax payments, described Mr Anderson as ‘extremely rude’ and ‘obviously bloody angry’ but said he did not plan to make a complaint.
Mr Bridgen has been angered that news of his expulsion from the Conservative Party, which emerged earlier today, became public before the deadline for him to appeal the decision.
He was kicked out the party earlier this month following the recommendation of a disciplinary panel.
It came after he claimed Covid vaccines were ‘the biggest crime against humanity since the Holocaust’.
Mr Bridgen had already been stripped of the Tory whip – meaning he sits in the Commons as an independent MP – in January.
Mr Anderson – dubbed ’30p Lee’ over his past claims that there’s not a ‘massive use’ for food banks in Britain and suggestion that meals can be cooked for 30p each – said it was Mr Bridgen who had been ‘rude and aggressive’.
‘I was having two lunch with two friends when a very angry looking Andrew Bridgen walked over with his friend,’ the Tory deputy chairman said.
‘Andrew spoke briefly to one of my guests who he knew but then turned his attentions to me in a rude and aggressive manner.
‘I literally had no idea what he was talking about and then both men left.
‘After apologising to my guests for the outburst I then walked over to Mr Bridgen’s table to express my disapproval.’
