A TEEN who wrote a "kill plan" ahead of murdering a schoolgirl said she was "excited AF" the night before the killing, a court heard.
The girl, named only as X, and male co-defendant Y allegedly lured transgender Brianna Ghey, 16, to Linear Park in Warrington.
Once there, transgender Brianna was knifed 28 times by the pair, who were both 15 at the time of the killing, it is said.
Manchester Crown Court was told the teens were "preoccupied with violence, torture and death".
They allegedly "encouraged one another to to think about how they would actually carry out a killing".
Jurors heard X had written a note headed "Saturday 11th February 2023. Victim: Brianna Ghey” – the day the schoolgirl was killed.

It read: "Meet Y at wooden posts 1pm. Walk down to library…bus stop. Wait until Brianna gets off bus then the 3 of us walk to linear park. Go to the pipe/tunnel area.
"I say code word to Y. He stabs her in the back as I stab her in the stomach. Y drags the body into the area. We both cover up the area with logs etc”.
Prosecutor Deanna Heer KC told the court the note was a "plan to kill Brianna".
X and Y then discussed what weapon they would use, eventually landing on a hunting knife the teen boy owned, jurors heard.

As they continued messaging about the following day's attack, X allegedly revealed she was "excited af [as f**k] for tomorrow”.
After the killing, the court heard X attempted to set up a "false defence" in case anyone looked at her phone.
She messaged Brianna saying: "Girl, is everything okay? Some teenage girl got killed in Linear Park its on news everywhere.
"And why did you ditch us for some random man from Manchester. Like wtf. That is so f***ed up."
This mystery 17-year-old boy was allegedly a concoction of X and Y's, with the teen girl telling him: "Make sure story adds up".
Jurors heard how X and Y had "planned together to kill Brianna in just the way that she was in fact killed".
X had grown "obsessed" with the teen and had previously messaged Y about a plot to kill her using medication, it was said.
Around 19 days before the schoolgirl died, she allegedly told Y she had given Brianna [painkillers] that "should have been enough to kill her".
The court was told Brianna had actually fallen ill and it appeared X was not "making it up".
The pair had allegedly compiled a list of four people they wanted to kill in addition to Brianna.
This included a boy, named in court as M, who the male defendant feared his crush was getting too close to.
In one text read to jurors, Y said: "You seem pretty ok with me killing him”.
X replied, “idc [I don’t care] if you kill him. I can do my best to help you too”.
She allegedly added: "If we kill M can I keep some things, a couple of teeth and an eye.
“Idk [I don’t know] how I would cut eye out though and get teeth out. And torture before killing”.
They also discussed slitting the throat of a boy called E before settling on killing Brianna so Y could see if "it will scream like a man or a girl", jurors heard.
Jurors heard the horror unfolded on February 11 after the trio arranged to meet at the park.
Brianna had messaged her mum at 1.41pm, saying: "I'm on the bus by myself, I'm scared."
She was later discovered covered in blood and lying face down in mud by a couple who were out walking their dogs.
Jurors were told she had suffered "unsurvivable" injuries, including catastrophic blood loss after she was knifed in the back and chest.
X and Y also allegedly penetrated Brianna's throat and lungs with the blade.
One stab wound reached a depth of 11cm and sliced through the teen's heart.
Brianna also had "defensive" wounds to her arms and hands where she desperately attempted to fight her attackers off.
The court was told "many" of the stab wounds damaged Brianna's bones and would have required "considerable force".
Ms Heer said there was "no doubt she was the victim of a sustained and violent assault".
She added: "The prosecution case is that, whoever delivered the fatal blows, both defendants are equally guilty. Acting together, they planned and executed their plan to kill her."
Police searching the scene found an unopened bottle of Dr Pepper and empty bottle of Coke near the scene that matched X and Y's DNA, the prosecutor added.
When officers then raided her home, they discovered another note with a "plan to kill", it was said.
This one said: "Slit throat, dismember body, place pieces in bin bags, bury bags 7 feet underground".
Officers also discovered notes about serial killers, including Jeffrey Dahmer, Richard Ramirez and Harold Shipman.
They later found trainers, a black jacket and knife with bloodstains which matched Brianna's DNA in boy Y's bedroom, the court heard.
X and Y, who legally can't be named, both deny murder.
The trial continues.
