A FOOTIE fan has died after a horror late night attack.
Andrew Lees, named locally, was found fatally injured in the early hours of this morning in Renfrew.
It's understood the 27-year-old was targeted outside the town's fire station before managing to make it 300 yards to a nearby street where he collapsed.
Andrew – known to pals as 'Panda' – was discovered by a local before being taken to hospital where he died.
This afternoon the Rangers supporter's heartbroken girlfriend posted an emotional tribute online.
Caitlin McFarlane said: "The love of my life, the person who made me smile and laugh every single day without fail. My best friend.
"I will always love you. Rest in peace my handsome guy."
She also included some pics of the couple and a toy panda.
A friend also posted: "Rest in peace my boy."
Another added: "Heartbreaking, actually heartbreaking!"
