A stolen car flipped on its roof and slid through lanes of traffic on Melbourne’s West Gate Bridge leaving police hunting for a trio who fled the scene.
The orange Toyota Corolla was spotted speeding and weaving through traffic from the city on the West Gate Bridge about 1am on Saturday.

As it got to the top of the bridge it clipped another car before it flipped onto the roof and slid across three lanes of traffic, police said.
A male and two females were trapped in the car but when passers-by freed them, the trio fled the scene.
The group ran towards Williamstown Road and despite police were unable to find them despite patrolling the area.
Police discovered the orange sedan was stolen from Brunswick on Friday evening.
The driver in the other car was unharmed
