THREE adults and two children aged 12 and 15 have been arrested after a man was stabbed.
Police were called to York on Saturday following reports of an assault on a residential street.
The 44-year-old victim was rushed to hospital with knife wounds but there is no update on his condition.
Two women, aged 40 and 18, a 40-year-old man and two children aged 15 and 12 were all arrested in connection with the horror.
The 40-year-old woman was also held on suspicion of possession of Class A drugs.
They have since been released on conditional bail pending further enquiry.
Two male suspects also arrested over the stabbing were released with no further action.
North Yorkshire Police said: "The incident happened shortly before 4.20pm on Saturday 15 January 2022, when emergency services responded to reports of an assault on a man in Archer close.
"The victim, a 44-year-old man, had sustained injuries from a bladed article and was taken to hospital by ambulance."
