Desperate search is launched for missing girl, 13, who vanished two days ago

  • Missing Kiara Millward was last seen at around 8.30am on Wednesday morning
  • The 13-year-old girl has disappeared from Southbourne area of Bournemouth
  • Police are concerned for her welfare and launched an urgent appeal to trace her

An urgent appeal has been shared by police officers who are trying to locate a 13-year-old girl who has gone missing from Bournemouth.

Kiara Millward, aged 13, was last seen at around 8.30am on Wednesday July 13 in the Southbourne area of the town.

The force says Kiara is white, five feet five inches tall and of slim build with long blonde hair. It is believed she was last seen wearing a black skirt, black top, pink fluffy sliders and was carrying a large black handbag.

Inspector Jon Wasey, of Dorset Police, said: ‘Due to Kiara’s young age and the passage of time since she has last been seen, we are concerned for her welfare.

‘I would urge anyone who has seen Kiara, or a girl matching the description given, to please get in touch.

‘Finally, if you see this appeal Kiara please contact us or your family as we all just want to make sure you are OK.’
