Woman, 24, seriously hurt after being shot near Tottenham party | The Sun

A WOMAN has been seriously injured following a shooting at a party.

Emergency services charged to the address in Tottenham, North London, in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

But when police and paramedics arrived at the junction of West Green Road and Grove Park Road at around 6.28am – no one was found.

They checked nearby hospitals and at around 06.50am cops confirmed a 24-year-old woman was in a north London hospital.

She had been taken there without the help of emergency services.

She remains in hospital undergoing treatment but her condition is not life-threatening.

Police believe the woman was shot in the West Green Road area shortly before 06.30am.

Despite the time of the incident, there were a significant number of people around as a party was taking place nearby.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or who saw or heard anything suspicious at around that time.

Anyone with information is asked to call 101 giving the reference 1148/27DEC.
