A WOMAN has been charged with murdering a man two years after his body was found in the River Cherwell.
Jorge Javier Martin Carreno, 30, was pulled from the water at the Oxfordshire beauty spot in July 2021.
Cops have now confirmed that Scarlet Blake, 25, has been charged in connection with the grim find.
Blake, who previously went by the name Alice Wang, was arrested last Wednesday and remains in police custody.
In addition to murder, she has been charged with causing unnecessary suffering to an animal, criminal damage and theft.
Investigators confirmed that these charges were not related to the murder case.

She is set to appear at Oxford Magistrates' Court later today.
Detective Chief Inspector Jon Capps of Thames Valley Police said: "This is a complex investigation and we still need help from the public.
"It may be that you were on your way to work or out for a morning run and saw something that you now think could be useful to us that you have not reported to us yet.
"Any information, no matter how insignificant it may seem to you, could be vital to us, so please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
