That is £130,000 less than the average flat price in London, according to Rightmove with one property coming in at £511,594.

What is more appetising about the sale is its bang for its buck – the Central American Island comes with an on-site manager and caretakers.

There is also access to WiFi, phone and TV signal.

About five years ago, a similar listing in Scotland went on the market for an affordable £250,000.

Other private islands have been up for grabs in recent years but have gone to auction with heftier price tags.
