KELSEY Grammer has hinted the Frasier reboot is finally happening – after he was spotted with a script in London.
The 64-year-old actor was photographed clutching a file with "Frasier" on the cover – and the name of his production company, Grammet.
Kelsey – who's in London rehearsing for a play – played psychiatrist Dr Frasier Crane in the comedy which ran for 11 seasons from 1993 to 2004.
Sources revealed last year that Kelsey had been in touch with producers about a reboot.
The show, which was originally a spin-off of the sitcom Cheers, is likely to be rebooted in a new city… maybe it's London?
Blackpool-born star John Mahoney, who played Frasier’s dad Martin Crane, died aged 77 in February last year.
Earlier this year, Kelsey addressed rumours of a Frasier return, telling Digital Spy that the show's "universal themes" were "always timeless".
He said: "I think we may have told two jokes [over 11 seasons] that relied on people knowing what year we were in.
"That is why I think it's a timely show forever. I don't think comedy that relies on somebody knowing exactly what happened yesterday in the news will last."
Grammer has previously confirmed that he was looking to reunite the entire Frasier cast.
He said: "We would need to deal with [Mahoney's passing] within the storytelling, but I'd want everybody back, if they want to come back.
"The first principle is that it is a different story, basically.
"Same group of characters but in a different setting.
"Something has changed in their lives."
