Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello confirmed they have split after seven years of marriage, saying they had made the ‘difficult decision’ to divorce.
The Colombian-American actress, 51, and the Magic Mike star, 46, tied the knot in Florida in 2015 but have now decided to go their separate ways.
Sources exclusively told DailyMail.com that the pair had drifted apart due to their ‘different attitudes’ – after first bonding over being opposites.
In a statement, the couple shared: ‘We have made the difficult decision to divorce. As two people that love and care for one another very much, we politely ask for respect of our privacy at this time as we navigate this new phase of our lives.’

JOE IS ABSENT FROM CLOSE PALS’ WEDDING
Sofia appeared at her Modern Family co-star Sarah Hyland’s nuptials with Wells Adams last August without Joe.
Her husband Joe was not seen at the ceremony, with a source saying that the time that he wasn’t able to attend due to his busy work schedule.
Sofia instead brought her son Manolo , 31, who she shares with her first husband Joe Gonzalez, to the festivities.
At the time, a source told Us Weekly of Joe’s absence: ‘Joe’s work schedule prevented him from attending.’
The nuptials were attended by 150 guests, with Sarah, who played Haley Dunphy on Modern Family from 2009-2020, being supported my multiple of her co-stars from the ABC series.
For the occasion, Sofia had stunned in a black and white dress from brand Bambah, with a floral design and one-shouldered sweetheart neckline.
She completed the look with a crystal embroidered mini Valentino LOCÒ handbag in silver and black.

THE COUPLE RELIST BEVERLY HILLS HOME
In May, it was revealed that Sofia and Joe had relisted their $18million Beverly Hills home, just over a year after it first hit the market with a $20million price tag.
The couple put their sprawling 11,000 square foot home on the market for $7.4million more than they bought the 1.5acre property for back in 2014.
Since first buying the property, the couple has remodeled the Italian-inspired mansion with the help of interior designer Jennifer Bevan.
The sought-after expert preserved the built-in, Tuscan-villa vibe but updated the style with white walls and black accents.
The lavish house comes with a 10-seat movie theater, full size gym with sauna and 3,000 bottle wine cellar, while it also features a curved staircase and French doors.
The primary bedroom includes dual closets and spa-like baths with a fireplace on the balcony, while the backyard is secluded and private with a large inground pool, hot tub and massive lawn.
Next to the mansion is a guesthouse, a sports court and two motor courts with space for four cars.

The villa is co-listed with Barry Peele of Sotheby’s International Realty and Santiago Arana of The Agency.
The estate is located in the highly exclusive and desirable neighborhood of Beverly Park, in the center of Beverly Hills and West Hollywood. The estate is set high in the mountains while still being only minutes to local restaurants.
Some of Vergara’s neighbors include celebrities like Denzel Washington, Sylvester Stallone and Eddie Murphy.
FANS ACCUSE JOE OF ‘COLD’ BIRTHDAY TRIBUTE
Earlier this month, Joe came under scrutiny from fans after he took to Instagram to share a 51st birthday tribute for his wife Sofia.
However, many fans labeled it as ‘cold’ with many expressing their worries about the pair’s relationship status following the post.
He shared a photo of him and his wife cuddled up as she celebrated her big day in Italy and shared his well wishes in a caption.
The actor kept the caption simple for his 2.7million fans as he wrote: ‘¡¡¡Feliz Cumpleaños Sofía!!!’
But the comment section of the post was full of concerned fans as one wrote: ‘Joe, I hope you guys are ok, that was a very different(cold) happy birthday wish to your wife, compare to previous ones!. [sad face emoji]’
Another said: ‘Something is definitely up. He hasn’t commented on her photos she’s been posted. hmmm…….’

Sofia has not since featured Joe in any of her Instagram posts, while his last post to her was her 51st birthday tribute earlier this month.
Sofia has since jetted off to Italy to spend time with her pals and loved ones solo, posting snaps exploring with her close pals.
PARTYING WITHOUT JOE
Sofia recently hosted a Fourth of July party with a group of her family and friends, but Joe did not appear to be in attendance.
The star, who plays Gloria in Modern Family, took to Instagram to share an array of snaps from her lavish party, appearing to have a great time.

However, Joe was seemingly nowhere to be seen at the festivities as he did not feature in any of the group shots from the bash.
