Amanda Owen’s lover ‘divorcing wife’ who accused him of affair with her

Clive Owen admits he had ‘huge part’ to play in Amanda split

Amanda Owen’s lover Robert Davies is reportedly divorcing his estranged wife Yasumi after the latter claimed they had an affair.

A source has told The Sun: “Robert has begun divorce proceedings with Yasumi.

“She’s finding it very difficult and stressful. It’s been a terrible 12 months for her and it’s not getting any easier.

“Robert has moved into a rented property and is pushing to get the legal process sorted.

“Yasumi suspects he wants to get the divorce done as soon as possible so that he and Amanda can be together.”

Our Yorkshire Farm star Amanda is accused of having an affair with the businessman for five years.

She or Robert are yet to comment on the allegation, but Yasumi alleges he confessed it was true to her and left their home.

It was previously claimed to The Sun that Yasumi found a love note from Amanda which read: “Robert, life is too short and happiness is too rare. I love you.”

Conflicting reports however say the shepherdess only started seeing Robert following her split from husband Clive last year.

Express.co.uk contacted Amanda’s representatives again for a comment but have not received a reply. Robert has also been approached.

The television star and Robert, who she has reportedly known for years, were pictured out together back in March.

In June last year, Amanda announced that she and her husband of 22 years had split.

They shared the news in a joint statement writing: “Clive and I are sad to confirm that we have made the difficult decision to separate.

“This hasn’t been easy, but we both believe it’s the right choice for the future of our family.

“Although we are no longer a couple, we continue to work on the farm and co-parent together, with our number one priority being the happiness and well-being of our children.”

In April, Clive discussed their split on Lorraine, telling Christine Lampard he handled their television fame “very badly”.

He said: “It’s a tough time for Amanda now and I think it’s only right because I don’t do social media to speak out. We filmed Our Yorkshire Farm, people loved it and it was an opportunity to make something as a family.

“That was what drove her. It was amazing and very successful but I handled it very badly.

“It was such a change in our lives and I sadly made a right mess of things basically. I had a massive part to play in the relationship ending. A massive part to play. I was ranting and raving and drinking and carrying on. I don’t know – jealousy.”

He went on to say she is a “remarkable woman” but that they “couldn’t be together anymore”.
