Bam Margera Ordered To Wear Alcohol-Detecting Ankle Monitor Following Arrest For Disorderly Conduct & Public Intoxication

Following an arrest for public intoxication and disorderly conduct, Bam Margera has been ordered to wear an alcohol-detecting ankle monitor.

According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, a Chester County judge set this in motion via the Jackass alum’s new bail conditions on Thursday. He is required to wear the monitor, called SCRAM (Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitor), for at least 30 days. If nothing is detected in his system during that time, it may be removed. The reality star must also attend weekly Alcoholics Anonymous meetings and obey outpatient treatment recommendations.

This comes after the 43-year-old was taken into custody earlier this month when Radnor Police Department officers responded to a call about an argument between a man and a woman in a parking lot of the Radnor Hotel. Margera was found in an intoxicated state and “admitted to kicking a car windshield so hard it cracked,” cops said.

Considering he’s been having a very hard time amid his sobriety journey the last year, maybe this bracelet will help him get back on track? We’ll have to wait and see.
