Bobby Brazier details how late mum Jade Goody wouldve reacted to Strictly news

As he gears up for the new series of Strictly Come Dancing, Bobby Brazier has revealed what his late mum Jade Goody’s reaction would have been to him competing for the Glitterball trophy.

The actor, who is riding high off of the back of his recent National Television Awards win, has said that his beloved mother would be “happy” he’s taking part in something he enjoys doing.

Speaking to Hello Magazine and other publications, the model shared: “She’d be happy that I’m doing something that makes me happy.

“Like all my friends and all of my family, and everyone that loves me is. They’re happy for me because they know how much I’m going to enjoy myself and how happy I am just to be there.”

Big Brother legend Jade died in 2009 after losing her battle with cervical cancer, at the age of just 27.

Bobby went on to reveal how far he’d like to go in the dance competition: “I want to go as far as I possibly can.

“I want to stay in it and be around these lovely people for as long as I possibly can.”

The soap star continued: “And go on that journey with my partner, have the best times, and the worst times. I really want to feel all of those things together.

“We have a potential for a really, really, really sweet relationship that I’ll cherish forever.”

The cheeky chap previously announced he would be taking a step back from EastEnders to take his role and training seriously.

Despite only joining the hit soap last year, Bobby shared that he will be taking a break but will be returning to the show soon.

Speaking to Digital Spy, he said: “I’ve filmed it already, and no I’m not telling you about it. But I’ll be back.”

Bobby plays Freddie Slater in the soap and has been involved in plenty of storylines including sleeping with Anna Knight (played by Molly Rainford) despite his best friend Bobby Beale (Clay Milner Russell) having a crush on her.
