Britney Spears vows she won't return to spotlight in furious Instagram post

Britney Spears has vowed that she will not rejoin the entertainment industry following her conservatorship ordeal.

The Toxic singer, who recently released new music with Elton John, shared a furious message on Instagram, discussing some of the lowest points in her conservatorship battle.

In the rant, the 40-year-old claimed that her family ‘locked her up’ for four months and even had her door taken away for ‘privacy’, suggesting a star like Jennifer Lopez would never be treated in a similar way.

‘After 14 years of telling me no to what I wanted… it’s ruined for me… but that wasn’t the worst part…,’ she said. ‘The worst part was my family locking me up in that place for 4 months… Jesus f***ing Christ… I’d like to see somebody tell Jennifer Lopez to sit down 8 hours a day 7 days a week…

‘No car, own security of 5 years telling me at my own door I can’t walk outside for 4 months…no door for privacy… and watched me change naked and shower…

‘And no a**holes not 6 gallons of blood… 6 vials of blood the small tubes but come on every f**king week took me abruptly off me medication I was normally on and drugged me on lithium…

‘I’d like to see a management team tell Jennifer Lopez to go through what I went through… What the f**k do you think she would do… Her family would never allow that.’

Britney then reiterated her previous comments, emphasizing how little she wants to be back in the spotlight.

‘Pssss… you say do what you want to do now… Really 14 years later after being humiliated… it’s WAY too late for that…,’ she continued.

‘Again I’d rather stay home and s**t in my f**king pool than join the entertainment business… The truth is a f**king b***h. I’m not going to play the victim HIT ME BABY ONE MORE TIME????? [middle finger emoji].’

In a second post, the mom-of-two said that she had frequently asked those around her for permission to remix her own music, something she was told wasn’t possible.

’They ruined it for me, embarrassed me, and made me feel like absolutely nothing,’ she penned.

Britney was freed from her controversial conservatorship in November, after nearly 13 years, and has previously spoken out against the order and those in charge – including her dad, Jamie, who managed her wellbeing and financial affairs during that time.

Earlier this month, the Gimme More musician said that she hoped that her parents both ‘burn in hell’ for her ordeal.

In a now-deleted Instagram upload, she also suggested that she ‘won’t probably perform again’ following her legal battles, as she is ‘pretty traumatised for life’.

‘I’m pretty traumatized for life and yes I’m p***ed as f**k and no I won’t probably perform again just because I’m stubborn and I will make my point,’ she added, before signing off: ‘Kiss my God damn mother f**king a**.’
