The dinner comes after Nicola and Brooklyn attended the premiere for Welcome To The Chippendales, in which she plays murdered 70s Playmate Dorothy Stratten.

Welcome to Chippendales’ development was revealed to the public last year, and it was originally titled Immigrant.

The show is based on K. Scot Macdonald and Patrick MontesDeOca’s book Deadly Dance: The Chippendales Murders, which was originally published in 2014.

The program will follow the life of Chippendales founder Somen ‘Steve’ Banerjee, who ultimately committed suicide in 1994 while awaiting sentencing after being charged with murder for hire, among other offenses.

The late businessman’s life had been adapted into several projects in the past, and he was played by Naveen Andrews in the 2000 television film The Chippendales Murder.

Nanjiani joined the series last year, and both he and his wife, Emily V. Gordon, serve as two of the show’s executive producers.

Physical production on the program took place earlier this year, although it was briefly paused due to a member of the production team testing positive for Covid.

Welcome To Chippendales is currently set to premiere on Hulu on November 22 in the US.
