Helen George, who is best known for playing Trixie Franklin on the BBC drama series Call the Midwife, has sparked concern among her fans by unveiling a nasty-looking injury.
The 39-year-old actress took to Instagram on Sunday to share a picture of herself with her leg in a cast in view of her 267,000 followers.
The picture showed the star smiling as she showed off her handy scooter, which she appeared to be using to get around while her right leg was in a full medical cast.
She provided no further explanation on what had happened, meaning fans were left unsure of whether she had fractured or broken a part of her leg.
Helen, who could be seen sporting a black skirt and matching top accessorised with a Saint Laurent bag and some shades, simply captioned the snap: “Speedy [black heart emoji].”
