Charlotte Dawson screamed hospital down during sons speedy birth with no pain relief

Charlotte Dawson has revealed that she "screamed the whole hospital down" during her new son Jude's speedy birth, when she had no pain relief.

The 30 year old welcomed her second son over the weekend, and she's now shared intimate details of the birth with her Instagram followers.

Charlotte ended up giving birth naturally, despite having a C-section planned for Wednesday, 2 August, after her waters broke.

On Instagram, she shared a snap of herself kissing her two year old son, Noah, on the cheek, as she wrote: "And then he realised we had to leave him and he couldn't come with us.

"Mid-contraction. Little did I know I was having Jude in 2 hours after this."

Next up, Charlotte shared a picture of herself crying with her fiancé Matt Sarsfield by her side, seconds after birth, as little Jude was placed on her chest.

Over the top of the image, Charlotte wrote: "go for my section as I had it planned on weds… I was 4cm dilated when I arrived at hospital at 1am they took me to theatre to give me the epidural.

"I couldn't sit still cos Jude's head was coming out on the theatre table… they had to scream for Matthew to come quick!!!"

She then tagged her fiancé as she wrote: "I think I screamed the whole hospital down like Matthew thought the epidural had gone in wrong he was panicking – no it's our lad's head – it all happened so fast."

The daughter of the late comedian, Les Dawson, then posted a snap of herself beaming in relief, as she clutched her newborn son.

In her usual hilarious fashion, she wrote: "That feeling when you have pushed a nearly 9 pounder out… with no chuffin pain relief."

Sharing another photograph of herself and her new baby boy as she wrote: "The pure happiness to have our rainbow baby boy in my arms."

In April 2022, Charlotte announced the news on Instagram that she had suffered a devastating miscarriage.

She explained: "Hi my darlings, I finally feel ready to post this.. I mean I don’t know when there is a good time to post this.

"It’s been an extremely tough week mentally but also obviously physically… I am heartbroken beyond words.. and I know I’m never quiet on here, & always so open and honest with you guys so it’s been a shock to you all..

"I keep getting lots & lots of messages worrying about us all, asking why I’m being quiet & if Noah is ok.. Noah is absolutely fine.. he’s amazing. I’m the one that’s not ok.. unfortunately I’ve suffered with a miscarriage."

She went on to explain that both her and her other half Matt's family and friends had known for sometime that she'd been pregnant.

But better news was to come for the family, as in February 2023, Charlotte announced that she was pregnant again with their "rainbow baby".

A rainbow baby is a name coined for a healthy baby born after losing a baby due to miscarriage, infant loss, stillbirth, or neonatal death.
