Danni Menzies, 33, has unveiled her next venture following her terrifying moped crash and decision to quit A Place In The Sun. The TV star recently left fans and bosses stunned after deciding to leave the Channel 4 show after six years at the helm.
But Danni now has her sights set on a new career path, as she prepares to launch Menzies at Home next month.
The forthcoming venture boasts a variety of stylish furniture curated by the former model.
Danni told The Sun: “It’s something I’ve been working on since having a bit of time off with my accident.
“My parents always developed properties, so I was always getting dragged around the interior shops with my mum and places like the Ideal Home Show growing up, and it’s something I enjoyed.
“Looking around lots of properties on A Place In The Sun, I always imagined what I would do to them, so I decided to put together an online business which basically curates different collections so it’s just really easy for people to get it right, and I love it.”
The new project launch is set to follow her decision to leave the property show, after a successful six-year run as one of the Channel 4 show’s main hosts.
Debuting on the show in 2016, Danni had become a fan favourite, helping holidaymakers and ex-pats achieve their dreams of moving abroad for many years.
With the news coming as a shock to the show’s holiday-loving fans, she is excited to branch out onto something new.
Danni has said: “After six years on the show and about a hundred shows filmed, I’ve decided to hang up my summer dresses.
“The show has been such a huge part of my life, and I’d just like to thank and send love to all of the wonderful people I’ve met on this journey who made it so special.”
The final episode in the new series aired earlier this week, but fans can still soak up the star by watching reruns on Channel 4.
She continued to say on her departure from the show: “A huge thank you also to the incredible team at Freeform Productions who I have never appreciated more than the last two years as they kept the show on the road despite the fact that covid made travel a huge obstacle.

“What a team! I will never forget the day I got the call for this opportunity, and I will always be so grateful for it. It’s been an absolute blast!
“SO many lovely people, places and special memories.”
Last year, Danni was hit by a stolen motorbike in London, resulting in a painful recovery period spent at home surrounded by her family.
The star described herself after the injuries as “not looking pretty” as she shared snaps online thanking her mum for her unfailing support.
It came after the two females reportedly lost control of the vehicle and crashed into her.
She said in an Instagram post: “Mum. A few weeks hiding away and I’m getting back to normal, gonna have a scar but seems I got a fringe cut at the right time!”
The shots she shared showed her posing alongside her mum as the pair enjoyed a walk together.
Following the incident, Danni was left with a big cut on her lip and eyebrow, which has left the model and presenter with a scar.
