Doctor Who: Unleashed set to air after 60th Anniversary episodes with access all areas footage and exclusive interviews with cast and crew
The Doctor Who fandom will not be able to contain their excitement as a brand new access all areas show is set to premiere on BBC Three and iPlayer in November.
Whovians will be able to watch Doctor Who: Unleashed straight after the three 60th anniversary episodes to discover all the behind the scenes footage.
The show will be hosted by former Radio 1 Newsbeat Presenter, Steffan Powell.
Viewers will be able to follow Steffan as he interviews with both the stars in front of the camera as well as those tucked away behind the scenes.
Doctor Who showrunner, Russell T Davies explained how important these access all areas programmes are, he said: ‘Over the years, I meet so many people who were inspired to find careers in TV, because of the behind-the-scenes material the BBC would show.

Doctor Who: Unleashed will be produced by Bright Branch Media for BBC Studios.

The creators of the show are thrilled they were able to create a second Doctor Who Confidential for a brand new generation of Whovians around the world.
Last week, Doctor Who released its latest trailer for the show’s much-anticipated 60th Anniversary Specials, ahead of Strictly Come Dancing’s first live episode on Saturday.

Scary: The brand new trailer also confirmed Neil Patrick-Harris’ villain is none other than The Doctor’s former foe The Toymaker, last seen on the show in 1966
And viewers have branded the new footage ‘insane’ as Donna Noble (Catherine Tate) makes her dramatic return to the franchise alongside Kate Lethbridge-Stewart (Jemma Redgrave).
And viewers were left ‘heartbroken’ when The Doctor (David Tennant) revealed he may not be able to save his lovable companion ‘life this time’, meaning Donna could be killed off in the upcoming episodes.
David is returning for three special episodes, set to air in November 2023, after bowing out from the role in 2010.
The brand new trailer also confirmed Neil Patrick-Harris’ villain is none other than The Doctor’s former foe The Toymaker, last seen on the show in 1966.
Donna can be seen having her memories returned to her as she and the Doctor come face to face with The Toymaker as he causes havoc on earth.
The trailer also teased other villains that would feature in the specials, with one so scary it led The Doctor’s spaceship the TARDIS to ‘run away’.
However Donna, who last appeared in the series in 2007, was her usual outspoken and fearless self and declared ‘Let’s kick it’s a***!’.
There was also footage of Heartstopper’s Yasmin Finney alongside previously announced alien Beep The Meep
As well as glimpse at new Doctor Ncuti Gatwa in the role, with the star popping up at the very end of the clip.
Meanwhile fans couldn’t help but marvel at the incredible special effects – after BBC signed a big money deal with Disney Plus – as the earth’s military organisation UNIT now based in a Avenger’s style tower in the heart of London.
