Fans think True Thompson accidentally revealed Kylie Jenner’s son’s name
Khloe Kardashian and Kylie Jenner have yet to reveal the names of their new baby boys. But some fans are convinced Khloe’s 4-year-old daughter, True, accidentally blurted out her new cousin’s name in this week’s season premiere of “The Kardashians.” The now viral TikTok theory points to a clip from the show where Khloe FaceTimes True from the hospital to introduce her to her new sibling. Asked who she wants to see on the phone, True, 4, hollers, “Baby brother!” Khloe then shows True the newborn. When True sees the baby on the screen, she promptly says, “Hi Snowy!” Though Khloe corrects her, saying, “His name’s not Snowy,” fans think True may have been confusing her new little brother with the baby brother of her cousin, Stormi, whose mom and dad, Kylie and Travis Scott, have not confirmed. “Snowy? Snowy and Stormi! Snowy baby! It has a ring,” says TikToker Marissa Spagnoli in the Sept. 22 clip that sparked the name theory, per E! News. The TikTok also points to a scene in the show where Khloe says True has a habit of telling everyone she’s getting a baby brother, even though Khloe and ex Tristan Thompson kept the news of their second child a secret. “She just, like, tells people,” Khloe says in the clip. “Like, when she sees the baby, she’ll say, ‘I’m going to have a brother, too.’ And I’m like, ‘Haha, no you’re not.’ ‘Cause she’ll just tell random people.” In the TikTok post’s comments, one fan mused that “Snow & Stormi make sense. Together they are their own little snowstorm,” while others agreed because both names start with “S” a la Kylie and her sisters. Khloe welcomed her baby boy via surrogate in July, while Kylie’s son arrived in February. Kylie and Travis initially announced their new addition was named Wolf, but later said they’d changed it after deciding Wolf didn’t fit him.

On Friday (Sept. 23), multiple outlets confirmed the couple have reconciled, one month after Jennifer filed for divorce. “They just decided to reverse course and try again,” a source told People. Sly’s rep also confirmed the reunion to Page Six, which reports an order of abatement has been filed to pause the divorce proceedings. “They decided to meet back up at home, where they talked and were able to work out their differences,” the rep said. “They are both extremely happy.” In her Aug. 19 divorce filing, Jennifer claimed her husband “engaged in the intentional dissipation, depletion and/or waste of marital assets which has had an adverse economic impact on the marital estate,” which he reportedly denied. The reconciliation news comes just days after Sylvester, 76, raised eyebrows by sharing a photo of himself holding hands with Jennifer, 54. The on-again pair share daughters Sophia, 26, Sistine, 24, and Scarlet, 20.
Viola Davis responds to backlash against ‘The Woman King’
Viola Davis says there’s more to her new film, “The Woman King,” than the 2-D perspective suggested by the “#BoycottWomanKing” hashtag that surfaced on Twitter last weekend. The movie — which enjoyed a No. 1 box office debut and boasts near-perfect scores on Rotten Tomatoes — centers on the real-life unit of all-women warriors who fought for Africa’s Dahomey Kingdom from the 17th through the 19th centuries. Critics say the film doesn’t adequately deal with the kingdom’s involvement in the slave trade (the kingdom’s economy was “built on conquest and slave labor, according to Wikipedia). Asked about the boycott calls in a recent interview with Variety, Viola reiterated director Gina Prince-Bythewood’s previous comment, “you’re not going to win an argument on Twitter,” then explained that the filmmakers “entered the story where the kingdom was in flux, at a crossroads.” The Oscar winner continued: “They were looking to find some way to keep their civilization and kingdom alive. It wasn’t until the late 1800s that they were decimated. Most of the story is fictionalized. It has to be.” Viola plays the warrior general Nanisca in the movie, which opens with her reprimanding the king for getting his people involved in the slave trade, according to CNN. (Her character also spends much of the movie advocating against slavery and suggesting other options, the outlet notes.) Speaking to Variety, Viola said there’s much more to the narrative, too. She was moved by how the real-life women warriors were were “unwanted” by their society. “They were the women who were not considered desirable … they were recruited by the King to fight … they were not allowed to marry or have children … and those who refused … were beheaded,” she explained. “That’s also part of the story.”

With her 50th birthday just around the corner, Gwyneth Paltrow is reflecting on what it means to grow older, including the physical changes that come with age. Sharing a photo of herself leaping through the grass in a bikini, the Goop creator, posted a link to what she titled, “Musings on a milestone,” a blog post she wrote for Goop ahead of her Sept. 27 birthday. “I understand on some level that life is linear …,” she wrote, in part. “But there is something about the sweetness of life that exists deep within me that is unchanged, that will not change. It is the essence of the essence. It seems to be getting sweeter.” Calling her body “a map of the evidence of all the days,” she pointed to “marks and irregularities” that remind her of moments from throughout her life: ” … a finger smashed in a window long ago, the birth of a child. Silver hair and fine lines.” Gwyneth went on to share her vow of physical self-acceptance, writing: “I accept the marks and the loosening skin, the wrinkles,” she wrote. “I accept my body and let go of the need to be perfect, look perfect, defy gravity, defy logic, defy humanity. I accept my humanity.” Finally, she thought back to her parents’ 50th birthdays and what her teenage kids might remember some day when they think of her milestone. “I hope … they know I am both good through and through, yet sometimes not,” she continued. “That my feelings of regret and my mistakes can act as scaffolding for what I build from now on. Ellen DeGeneres source hits back at Greyson Chance’s claims comic manipulated, then ‘abandoned’ him
In a Rolling Stone profile published this week, Greyson Chance alleged his childhood mentor Ellen DeGeneres was “manipulative,” “controlling” and eventually “abandoned” him when his 2012 EP failed to take off. But a source close to Ellen shared a very different version of the singer’s relationship with the talk show host in an interview with Entertainment Tonight published Friday (Sept. 22). “Ellen and the team went above and beyond and sometimes careers just don’t take off,” the source said. “Chance did not make any complaints during that time and continued to appear on the show to launch his new projects. He has taken this time as he is launching an album to go after Ellen with opportunistic claims.” Now 25, Greyson got his start on “Ellen” when he was 12, after his performance of Lady Gaga’s “Paparazzi” at his middle school in Oklahoma went viral. He performed a dozen times on the show over the years and signed with her music label, but told Rolling Stone what was happening behind the scenes was toxic. Greyson alleged Ellen was “invested” in him but went too far and became “domineering.” He also alleged she “completely abandoned” him after his first EP tanked, when he found himself dropped by his label. Though he went back on “Ellen” in 2019, years after he said she went MIA, he said the set was “a place of trauma” and criticized the comic for asking about his sexuality on the air. He doubled down on his comments on TikTok on Thursday, telling followers he’s “grateful for her giving me a start, but I’m more grateful to myself for the moments when I got dropped and everything went awry,” because at 15, he “picked up the pieces and kept on going and kept on fighting.”
