It’s the end of an era at Freeform!
The Disney-owned network is no longer moving forward with two of it’s biggest dramas – Good Trouble and Cruel Summer, THR reports.
The Fosters spinoff and the anthology series were the only Freeform originals left at the network that had yet to be renewed or canceled.

According to THR, Freeform execs wanted both of the shows to return, but the latest ratings were not justifying the costs of renewing them for sixth and third seasons, respectively.
Good Trouble was of course a sequel series/spinoff of hit series The Fosters, following Mariana and Callie as they moved to Los Angeles. The show’s now final episodes, and the second half of season five will be returning in January 2024. Watch a teaser here!
Cruel Summer season one broke records at the network, and the second season premiere delivered nearly just as much!
