Game of Thrones’ Lena Headey marries Ozark’s Marc Menchaca in intimate ceremony

Game of Thrones' Lena Headey – famous for playing Queen Cersei Lannister in the hit HBO show – has married Ozark star Marc Menchaca in a private and intimate ceremony in Italy.

The pair are said to have got married on 6 October, with the bride, 49, wearing a white halter-neck wedding dress and veil, with flowers in her hair, which was styled in loose waves.

Her new husband, 46, wore a blue three-piece suit, a blush pink tie and a Stetson hat as they said their "I do's" in front of their nearest and dearest.

A number of Lena's old Game of Thrones co-stars were in attendance, including mum-of-two Sophie Turner, 26, who played Sansa Stark, as she attended with her husband Joe Jonas, 33.

Sophie looked stunning in a Grecian-inspired green co-ord, whilst her husband of two years looked every inch the pop star in a satin suit.

They posed for a group selfie with fellow guests Michala Cutting, Brian Moore and Charley McEwan.

Pop star Rick Astley also made a surprise appearance as he chatted and mingled with guests.

More of Lena's Game of Thrones co-stars were also said to be there, including Peter Dinklage, who played Cersei's brother Tyrion Lannister, as well as Conleth Hill, who played Varys.

It's the second marriage for Lena, who was first married to musician Peter Paul Loughran for six years before their split in 2013. They share an 11 year old son named Wylie.

A couple of years later, in 2015, Lena gave birth to her second child, a daughter named Teddy, who's father is Lena's childhood friend Dan Caden. The pair went on to split in 2018.

She embarked on a relationship with Marc Menchaca in 2020, and, whilst they went official in November of that year, the pair were believed to be dating for several months prior, after they were spotted at the premiere of HBO's Stephen King adaptation The Outsider, in which Menchaca played a major role.

Fast-forward two years and the happy couple tied the knot in front of friends and family.

Although Lena was born in the UK, she now lives in Los Angeles, where it appears she intends to stay.

A source told The Sun: "Lena now sees herself living in the States for the foreseeable future.

"It’s where the parts are for her and she’s got a blossoming relationship with Marc so she sees no point in her living in the UK."
