The Sun reported on Wednesday, October 26 that the former One Direction member secretly shared an offscreen kiss with his co-star on the set of their film. “Harry and Florence had chemistry from the off, which translated incredibly well on-screen,” one source close to the situation spilled to the outlet. “One night they had a bit of a snog, all very light-hearted and a bit of fun, and that was that.”

“It was being gossiped about by a couple of members of production, otherwise no one would have known,” the insider continued. “Harry was very much single at the time and Florence had separated from Zach Braff, although she’d kept the split quiet to, ironically, avoid headlines.

The so-called source further stressed that “there was no cheating or misbehavior from anyone.” However, later on, Harry and Olivia “started spending more time together,” the informant added. The pair were “sneaking off for coffees, hanging out in one another’s trailers, and sharing small, routine intimacies.”

“It was clear to all they had a real connection. When they were pictured holding hands for the first time, Florence wasn’t too happy,” claimed the insider, “There was already tension between the two women and this undoubtedly fanned the flames.” The anonymous source then noted that although the feud is “one of Hollywood’s worst-kept secrets, everyone involved is a professional and things are now cordial.”

In late July, Page Six reported that Florence was upset with Olivia because she was hooking up with leading man Harry during the production, while still engaged to Jason Sudeikis, before they split in November. “I can tell you for a fact that Flo seeing Olivia and Harry all over each other on set did not go down well as Olivia was still with Jason when she first hooked up with Harry,” the source said.

Later, when making an appearance on the red carpet at the Venice Film Festival premiere of the film in September, Florence was asked about what she found “inspiring” in the film and she appeared to make a sly dig at Olivia.

“I think it’s very very inspiring to see a woman push back and say ‘no,’ and question everything. It’s very exciting to see a woman do that on and off camera,” the “Black Widow” actress responded. Asked when she “says ‘no’ off camera,” she jokingly replied, “When do I say ‘no’? When someone says I can’t have cake.”

More recently, Olivia and Jason’s former nanny spilled to Daily Mail that the filmmaker once “told Jason a couple of weeks after Harry started [on set] that Flo was f**king Harry and she had a boyfriend but was f**king Harry.” The nanny added, “Then Olivia started seeing Harry herself. It was all very quick. A lot of people don’t know that.”

The nanny also told the outlet that Olivia was “giddy” around the British actor/singer on the set of “Don’t Worry Darling”. “The first time I noticed anything was when I took her daughter out to be in the movie,” the nanny shared, “Olivia was acting giddy and she was putting her face in her hands and saying she couldn’t believe he was so young. I didn’t know who Harry Styles was at the time, and I thought, ‘Wow, I’ve never seen her like that.’ “
