I’m A Celeb bosses fear more stars will quit as camp left in misery

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! bosses are said to be fearing that more contestants could quit due to apparent misery in camp.

Earlier this week, Grace Dent, 50, left the jungle on medical grounds after sparking concerns with her appearance.

Following her exit, a source has claimed conditions in camp have worsened due to lack of food and more bad weather after heavy rain hit the camp this week.

Viewers witnessed rations being at an all-time low in Tuesday’s episode after Nella Rose and Frankie Dettori failed to win any stars in their challenge.

According to The Sun, the lack of food has left campmates “feeling desperate” and bosses fear more stars could quit.

A source said: “Nella and Frankie’s trial fell flat. No coins or stars

“What’s worse backstage is it was a two-month build to create that set and it’s resulted in a s*** trial.

“Her going back empty handed — and this awful weather — have left a real sense of misery.”

A representative for I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! declined to comment when approached by Express.co.uk.

After walking away with no stars, Nella apologised for her efforts admitting she felt she let the team down.

Despite this, the campmates welcomed her and Frankie back with open arms and urged them not to worry.

Campmates thankfully didn’t go completely hungry thanks to Marvin Humes, Sam Thompson and Tony Bellow’s efforts in their challenge.

The trio took on a gruesome trial in The Misery Motel, earning 26 out of 30 coins – some of which they transferred into stars.

Nella previously admitted to Grace that she would walk out of the jungle if she wanted to, just as long as she wasn’t first.

She made the admission as the pair discussed Jamie Lynn Spears’ previous struggles in camp due to misisng her children.

Nella told Grace: “If Jamie left yesterday I would have been right behind her… I’m leaving. I just don’t want to be the first.

“I’ve never, ever in my life started something and finished it. Ever.”

She went on to say: “I always quit, or I always sign on short term or if I don’t like it I can leave… this is the one thing I said I’m going to try and stick it through but I can already see myself… if I get in my head too much.”

Asked if she ran the minute “things start to pick up,” Nella said she was “obsessed” with controlling her happiness after being in “miserable” situations she had “no control over” when she was younger.

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! airs daily at 9pm on ITV.
